How is a blog different from a website?
What could a blog replace in your classroom?
Yes, I see myself blogging. I think it would be a great way to show parents what's happening in our class on a daily basis. I would like to put photos on the blog of the children's art and daily work.
Some advantages are that hopefully, parents will have dialogue together on the blog. Also, communicating their thoughts with me, on what is being shared.
I think a blog is different from a website , because a blog is more collaborative, personal, and I can update it more frequently. The collaborative comes, I hope, when my readers share their thoughts with me , and other parents.
Some of the hangups will be my own lack of experience, and I know I have some parent/students, that do not have access to technology at home. I would like to see my blog replacing so many newsletters!
